Information we collect

We only collect the information you choose to send us: the four fields of our enquiry form, plus any bearing photos or parts lists you send with your request. We do not ask for payment card numbers, identity documents or passwords through this website.

• Photos of bearings, markings or bearing positions, sent so we can identify worn or incomplete references.
• Repair lists, maintenance lists or purchase lists containing part numbers, brands and quantities.
• Delivery details you provide later to complete an order, such as destination country and postcode.

Tip: before sending photos or lists, please remove information that is not needed for the enquiry, such as unrelated personal details visible in the picture.

How we use your information

We use your information only to handle your bearing enquiry and order: identifying references, issuing quotations, and arranging shipment and documents.

1. 3.1Reference identification — checking full suffixes, execution, components and any alternative references you approve.
2. 3.2Quotation — preparing a written quote listing references, brands, quantities, price and currency, availability, estimated lead time and validity.
3. 3.3Shipping and documents — confirming shipping method, dispatch plan and the shipping documents required for your order.
4. 3.4After delivery — handling questions about labels, quantities or condition, using your order number and photos.

We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated purposes.

Communicating by WhatsApp and email

When you contact us by WhatsApp or email, those messages also pass through third-party platforms that apply their own privacy policies. Chen Bearing Trading does not control how WhatsApp or your email provider processes data on their systems.

• Please review the privacy terms of WhatsApp and your email service if you have concerns.
• Only send the details we need for the enquiry: references, quantities, photos and delivery information.
• We will never ask for card numbers or passwords by WhatsApp or email.

Information sharing

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only when it is needed to fulfil your order.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.

Our website may use cookies and basic statistics to keep the site working and to understand, in aggregate, which pages visitors use. This may include pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you reached the site.

We keep enquiry and order information only as long as needed to quote, deliver, handle after-delivery questions and meet legal or accounting obligations. Repeat buyers may ask us to keep previous references on file so repeat orders match.

• Access to enquiry and order records is limited to staff who handle quotations and shipments.
• Information is shared with logistics and customs parties only to the extent the order requires.
• Records no longer needed are deleted or anonymised.

No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us.

Your rights: access, correction and deletion

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing info@smbearings.com.

2. 8.2Help us find your records — include the name, email or WhatsApp number used in your enquiry, and any order number.
3. 8.3Verification — we may ask you to confirm the request from the same email address or WhatsApp number.
4. 8.4Our reply — we will confirm what was done. Some order records may need to be kept for legal, tax or accounting reasons; we will tell you if this applies.
